Turn Around Miracle at Cherry Hill Women’s Center!

It was a hot day outside of the Cherry Hill Women’s Clinic and people of all ages came out to make a peaceful prayerful presence. Early on, a few of the guys were able to talk to a 27 year old young father named Wayne, whose girlfriend was about to abort their 16-week old twins.  He said that he and Megan already have a three-month old girl named Stella and he felt that Megan was suffering from postpartum depression. We told him we would like to help with Stella and their present situation.  We offered unconditional help to begin right away. We promised to be in their lives as much as needed to make sure they were alright.

Megan came out to announce that she was still going through with the abortion, despite our willingness to help.  There was no way her living arrangement was big enough to house two more children.  She didn’t have a car to get to doctor’s appointments either…and she said she was planning to go back to work after her maternity leave with Stella ended, in order to help make ends meet. She had already made up her mind that an abortion was the best choice for her.

Wayne told us he had a job but needed better pay. We offered to make up the cost of the bills that needed to be paid along the way and take up collections for whatever was needed.  Wayne tried to change Megan’s mind, but she continued to be worried and upset.  She went back into the abortion facility.

Teri told Wayne to go inside and to “love her out of there”.  We encouraged him  to think of his two babies as he spoke to her.  We suggested he tell Megan he loves her and that he will do everything in his power to be the best father he can be.   With that advice, he went in…. and we prayed.

Wayne found Megan already dressed in the hospital gown for an abortion.  He had the courage to cause a scene! He told her they should do the right thing and love their children.  Megan came out and we shared the good news of our support with her.  Helper, Paul, told her he was planning to sell his Toyota Camry, but that he would give it to her instead! Helper, Joshua, offered to go to his church and secure  financial and material donations. Teri gave them her cell phone number and got their numbers and they hugged her and left the clinic! Our Helpers are just amazing!!

But God was not finished blessing the young family that day! When Wayne got home he was offered a higher paying job he had applied for.

This story is a perfect example of how our peaceful presence at the abortion facility is essential. God uses us as his hands and feet to help save children and spread His mercy. Please consider joining our 40 Days for Life campaign and be a messenger of hope to all those who are desperate enough to consider aborting their child. There is still time to make a huge impact in the lives of the unborn.
