2017 in Review! What a Great Year for Helpers NJ!

Hello Helpers! What a year 2017 was. It was certainly one for the books! In January we want to take a look at all we accomplished last year.Though there were many challenges, we have been blessed to be able to enter into the lives of pregnant women and their families and assist them with support services that ease their life burdens and give them hope!

Last year we:

  • Assisted 58 families
  • Fostered 7 adoptions
  • Helped 15 Clients with Career/Educational Opportunities
  • Provided furnishing for 26 Families
  • Provided food for 25 families
  • And, most importantly, welcomed 28 babies into the world!

We are thrilled to share some baby pictures with you in this newsletter. These are all unique individuals who will never be repeated. Each and every one plays an important role in God’s plan. Their mothers are to be commended for standing strong and choosing life in the face of difficult circumstances.

In 2017, we also continued to foster relationships with other social agencies throughout our area. We have utilized their expertise and they have called on us when they encounter pregnant moms they know will benefit from our support.

Many thanks to:

  • Options for Women
  • First Way of Burlington County
  • Good Counsel Homes
  • Cathedral Kitchen
  • Touch New Jersey Food Pantry
  • Hopeworks ‘N Camden
  • Unforgotten Haven
  • Safe Return/Volunteers of America
  • Harris School of Business
  • New Visions

As every year passes with God’s help and faithfulness we have been able to expand our services to the families that are so much in need. Please continue to support us with your prayers, volunteering and tax deductible donations that are so needed and appreciated.

May God bless you in this New Year!

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19
